Program Mission Statement

The system of relationships between people and technology is complex.  Our mission is to assist people in understanding these relationships and by this increased understanding to better enable innovation.

A Multidisciplinary Option

The SocioTechnical Systems Program (STSP) gives you access to better solutions, increased resources, more opportunities, and added value for your company or career. The College of Engineering (COE) and the School of Labor and Employment Relations (LER) combine forces to offer the STS program option.  This option teams students from across programs, merging their skill sets to create multidisciplinary solutions to real life problems.

Get Involved

Please contact Director Betty Barrett at bb1@illinois.edu or 217-244-4156 if you are interested in participating in the STS Program.
