Areas for Opportunity
Fellowships and scholarships provide students who may not have the financial means to attend the program an opportunity to do so. To see what corporations, alumni and friends have recently provided financial aid support to LER students, click here.
Scholarships
Your organization can establish a scholarship or award in any academic year. Typically, organizations provide a financial contribution of $10,000. Recipients are selected primarily on the basis of academic merit.LER scholarships can be designated to support the education of highly qualified minority students.

Fellowships
Your organization can establish an endowed fellowship at LER with a minimum financial contribution of $125,000. Combined with financial support by the School, the annual aid package provides a complete tuition and fee waiver to the student recipient.

Recruitment
There are many opportunities to recruit LER students for both full-time and internship employment opportunities. A continuing recruiting relationship with the School of Labor and Employment Relations will provide many benefits for your organization for years into the future. Event Sponsorships
Corporate support allows for the enhancement of many academic programs and functions that benefit the students and aid the School in providing a top-notch education. These events include, but are not limited to: a Leadershape workshop for incoming students; "Internship Night" for continuing students to share their corporate experiences with incoming students; the successful Alumni HR Teleconference Series; career workshops and professional development for students, including etiquette dinners, resume and interviewing workshops and time management clinics; Multicultural Fest; and a variety of panels and presentations on specialized topics in HR that are open to the whole campus. This is a wonderful way to link your organization's name with popular and successful LER activities.
Presentations
Not all corporate involvement is monetary. In fact, some of the most enriching experiences for the students are guest lectures from subject matter experts (SME's). Leaders in the field of HR imparting their knowledge in a classroom setting or as a guest speaker at an LER club event leaves a huge impression on the students
Center for HR management
This program is designed to enhance a company's best practices through applied HR research and professional development of partner members. CHRM is a joint program with the University of Illinois Chicago's College of Business Administration and the School of Labor and Employment Relations. Faculty study applied workplace issues share their knowledge with CHRM partners. CHRM sponsors two roundtable events each year for partner members and invites leading experts as presenters.
